When I was speaking in New Zealand at a women’s leadership conference, I met 18-year-old Nina. She was wrestling with big questions: Have you ever wanted to help someone but didn’t know how to? What do I do when a friend or loved one slips into a place of helplessness or desperation?
Let me start by saying Nina was wise beyond her years. At such a young age, she had a strong sense of service and interconnectedness to others. In our conversation, she drew upon her own experiences to discover how to best support friends in need. The answer gave her clues not only about helping others, but also about what may be her deepest passion and calling. Tune in to hear this brilliant and brave woman share her soul.

No matter how tough you are physical pain can stop you in your tracks.
When pain first shows up, you might adjust your body position, make accommodations to relieve pressure from a joint, or hope if you don’t acknowledge it, it might go away. But persistent chronic pain isn’t usually something you can just power through. There’s a good reason for its presence: your body is trying to get your attention! Think of it like a smoke alarm warning you that a fire is near.
When I met Christine in New Zealand, she was frustrated about her severe hip pain that had been going on for over a year. Together, we dug a little deeper to uncover what was really happening. What we discovered surprised us both.
Often when we don’t address issues, they surface in unexpected ways in our physical body. Join us to learn how to better interpret you own body’s signals—especially when they don’t make logical sense.
